BankWare’s Central US Clients Now Have Rapid
Access to Emergency Facilities
Barrington,
IL and Birmingham, AL (April 22, 2003) –
Davis Bancorp, a Barrington, IL-based provider of risk management
services, including disaster recovery services, and BankWare, a
Birmingham-based provider of browser-based check imaging solutions,
announced today that they are partnering to provide disaster recovery
services.
Under the agreement, Davis will offer emergency services via its
Chicago recovery center for BankWare’s full suite of ImageCentre check
imaging and remittance imaging solutions, thus ensuring that ImageCentre
users in the Midwest can operate without interruption in case of a
disaster.
Davis
Bancorp’s state-of-the-art item processing disaster recovery facility
is fully equipped with the latest in technology, offering redundancy to
accommodate simultaneous disaster recovery operations. Current equipment
includes NCR proof encoders, BancTec and NCR sorters with image
capability, high-speed printers, workstations, and advanced
communications capabilities.
Davis also offers a full compliment of disaster recovery
services, including disaster plan preparation and review, facilities for
proof encoding/keying, cash letter preparation, inclearing processing,
data communications, annual testing and certification, and door-to-door
courier services in the northern Illinois area.
Ideally
suited for recovery solutions, Davis is located near all the major
expressways, offering convenient access to major correspondent banks,
the Federal Reserve Bank, Chicago’s major airports, and downtown
Chicago. Full-time operational support is available 24 hours a day, and
7 days a week.
