Breaks Ground on Campus Expansion
BIRMINGHAM,
AL (April 30, 2002) – BankWare,
a leading provider of 3rd generation check imaging solutions,
announced today the groundbreaking of an office and campus expansion
project at the Birmingham-based company headquarters.
“The
success and marketplace acceptance of our software solutions has
provided us the opportunity to grow our business, our facilities, and
our staff,” stated Bob Darty, principal of BankWare. “While the
slowing economy has proved difficult for many companies, BankWare has
continued to experience substantial growth.”
One
aspect fueling BankWare’s growth has been the release and marketplace
acceptance of ImageCentre – the financial industry’s first and only
Browser-based check imaging, document imaging, remittance processing,
and COLD solution. Financial institutions nationwide are embracing
ImageCentre as their single source document management and payment
processing platform.

more than 20 years, BankWare has proven our commitment to our customers,

The
building expansion project will add a multi-story, 12,000 square foot
office facility next to the company’s existing corporate headquarters.
The new facility was designed by David “Chip” Gardner, AIA of
Gardner Architects with engineering services by MAXUS Construction
Company, both of Birmingham. The expansion is underway with a scheduled
completed date of late summer 2002.
